went out today and finally got around to visiting the denver zoo. they actually have a decent little set up. took a bunch of shots, a few of which i was pretty happy with. when i got home this evening i found out my card corrupted somehow. only one shot was left and it was this shit frame of a building while on the train headed north . bummer.

roasted acorn squash, smoked and braised pig hock, mushroom ragu, sage, thyme flower.i'll get around to writing it out and posting it up soon.

when we were on our family cruise a few months back, these bottles of wine were in our cabins when we arrived. it was really acidic. i ended up drinking the whole thing after a couple of oil cans, best value on the boat!

my good friends evan and ashley just had a baby boy. his name is zayne. just like major hollywood movie star, and international celebrity, billy zane, but with a 'y'.i had never even held a baby, let alone photograph one.

wet stain
cliff had his stairs redone in hardwood this week. we were instructed to wait three hours to walk on it, so the new coat of stain had time to properly set. cliff had to traverse the bannister.
